Capture an entire webpage
ScrollWeave's full-page mode captures a series of visible frames, scrolls through the page, and stitches those frames into one local image. It is intended for documentation, product pages, articles, receipts, dashboards, and other pages that are taller than the viewport.
Before you start: keep the source tab open and active while the extension scrolls through the page.
For a cleaner capture
- Use the optional lazy-content pre-scroll when images or sections render only after they enter the viewport.
- Turn on “Fix floating elements” when a sticky header, bottom bar, or chat widget would otherwise repeat in every frame.
- Wait for important animations or loading states to settle before starting the capture.
- Use the editor's crop and blur tools before sharing a result with private content.
What cannot be captured
Chrome restricts browser-owned pages such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. ScrollWeave works on regular HTTP and HTTPS pages after you explicitly start a capture. Very large canvases may be scaled for safe editing in the browser.
Keyboard shortcut
The supplied extension suggests Alt + Shift + P for full-page capture. You can change or review shortcuts in Chrome's extension shortcut settings.
